Help for day-to-day cutting and print work

Contour Cutting support is set up for businesses that need clear answers fast. Whether you are running short sticker runs in Sandton, signage work in Midrand or a wider rollout for branches across Gauteng, we help your team get the cut right first time.

Our support covers setup, operator guidance and production checks so your machine, artwork and media all work together. We handle the practical side, from blade pressure and registration marks to loading jobs on the shop floor, and we keep it grounded in what South African print rooms actually face, like power interruptions, dust and coastal humidity.

What our support team can assist with

Our team in Isando includes operations, production and technical staff who understand print-and-cut work from the ground up. That means you are speaking to people who know the pressure of a same-day job and the detail needed for clean edges on vinyl, labels and decals.

  • Operator induction for new staff
  • Artwork cut lines and setup checks
  • Media loading and alignment
  • Blade pressure setup and calibration
  • Registration calibration for accurate cutting
  • Troubleshooting for common production issues

Onsite installs and national support coverage

We support cutter installs nationwide, with direct assistance from our Johannesburg base in Isando and local help through Sandton, Midrand, Germiston, Boksburg and Randburg. For clients in Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town or smaller towns, we can still guide the install process and keep the handover practical.

For larger teams, Johan van Wyk handles senior installation work while Thabo Molefe supports technical queries after the machine is in place. That gives clients a proper follow-through, not just a quick handover and goodbye.

Training that fits your production floor

We do not treat training as a once-off lesson. Nadia Jacobs runs training coordination for operators and supervisors who need clear, repeatable steps they can use under pressure. Sessions can cover production workflows, maintenance basics and how to avoid common errors that waste media and time.

If your team changes often or you run shift work, we can tailor support around your schedule. A short refresher can save a full roll of material, and sometimes a small adjustment to the cut line saves the whole job.

Keeping machines productive in South African conditions

Load-shedding, voltage dips and warm workshop conditions can affect cutting accuracy if settings are not checked properly. We help teams build habits that keep the machine steady, including basic maintenance, cleaning routines and checking for worn parts before they cause downtime.

  • Daily and weekly care checks
  • Simple fault finding before escalation
  • Workflow tips for busy production rooms
  • Supervisor coaching for better output control

Ayanda Dlamini supports production supervision and can help teams tighten up handovers, while Lerato Mokoena keeps operations organised so support requests are handled in order.
