1. Website access and acceptable use
You may use this website to learn about our print-and-cut contour plotters, sticker cutting services, training support and nationwide cutter installs. You must use the site lawfully and in a manner that does not interfere with other users, our systems or the accuracy of our information.
You agree not to copy, scrape, reverse engineer or misuse content, images, service descriptions or pricing information displayed on the site. You also agree not to submit false enquiries, malicious code or any material that may harm our operations in Isando, Johannesburg or at any support area.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access to any part of the website or email systems.
- Do not use the site to send spam, fraudulent requests or misleading artwork files.
- Do not interfere with downloads, forms or enquiry submissions.
2. Quotes, orders and service scope
Any quotation issued by Contour Cutting is based on the information supplied by the customer, including artwork size, media type, cut complexity, installation location and the level of support required. If the brief changes, the quote may also change. A quote is not a final agreement until it is accepted in writing and all required deposits or approvals have been received.
Our services may include Operator Induction, Artwork Cut Lines, Media Loading, Blade Pressure Setup, Registration Calibration, Production Workflows, Maintenance Basics, Troubleshooting Session, Remote Refresher and Supervisor Coaching. We aim to provide accurate guidance but the customer remains responsible for checking that files, materials and machine settings suit the intended job. A missing crop mark or wrong media profile can cause waste, especially on long runs.
3. Payments, pricing and account responsibility
All prices are quoted in South African Rand unless stated otherwise. Payment terms will be set out in the quotation, invoice or written agreement. Where a deposit is required, work may be scheduled only once the deposit reflects in our account. Late payment may result in paused work, delayed installations or withheld files and training materials until the account is settled.
The person or business placing the order is responsible for ensuring that billing details are correct and that payment is made on time. If a purchase order, approval email or signed acceptance is issued by your staff, we may rely on it as authority to proceed. We do not accept responsibility for internal disputes between a client and its own staff or contractors.
- Prices may change without notice on future quotes.
- Travel or call-out costs may apply outside the agreed service area.
- Bank charges, clearance delays and currency conversion costs are for the customer’s account where applicable.
4. Files, artwork and technical support
Customers sending artwork, registration files or production instructions must ensure that all content is correct, complete and legally usable. We are not responsible for spelling errors, incorrect cut lines, low-resolution images, missing fonts or unsuitable colour separations supplied by the customer. If a file is not suitable for cutting, we may recommend changes, but final approval stays with the customer.
Technical support may be provided remotely or on site depending on the service requested and the location of the machine. Conditions such as load-shedding, unstable power, dust, coastal humidity or municipal access rules can affect testing and installation times. We will work carefully and communicate any practical limits, but we cannot guarantee the same result if site conditions are poor or if equipment has not been maintained properly.
5. Returns, cancellations and limitation of liability
Cancellations must be made in writing. If work has already started, including file preparation, booking of a technician or allocation of production time, you may remain liable for the costs already incurred. Custom-cut work, training sessions and site visits are not generally refundable once delivered or attended, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services supplied for the specific matter in dispute. We are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, missed deadlines caused by third parties, or damage arising from misuse of equipment, incorrect setup or unauthorised modifications. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Contact details, privacy and governing law
